Magnetic Upright Bike VG-51B

The Volksgym VG-51B is the first model in Volksgym's upright bike range with a specified flywheel weight — 3 kg — which means noticeably smoother pedalling compared to the lighter VG-33B and VG-37B. At AED 1,799 with 110 kg user capacity and 25.5 kg machine weight, the VG-51B is where Volksgym's exercise bikes transition from basic budget machines to proper home fitness equipment.

Why the flywheel matters

A heavier flywheel stores more rotational energy, which smooths out the dead spots in your pedal stroke — the point at the top and bottom of each revolution where your legs transition from pushing to pulling. The VG-51B's 3 kg flywheel won't feel like a commercial gym bike (those use 15–25 kg flywheels), but the difference between a specified 3 kg flywheel and lighter unspecified flywheels is immediately noticeable in pedalling comfort.

At 25.5 kg net weight, the VG-51B is heavier than the VG-33B (22 kg) and VG-37B (22.4 kg), which translates to better on-floor stability during use — less rocking at higher cadences.
